Je'-Ru Hall, BS, MAT, DD

Je'-Ru is a 45-year educator. He became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation (TM) at the historic  1973 Teachers Training Course in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Je'-Ru Hall has taught TM to thousands of people in community centers across this nation and around the world. He continues the legacy of TMC. Inc. through his community outreach as the Senior Director of The Meditation Center at the ARC in Washington D.C.

Denise Harrington

CEO of DMH Consulting Group, she is a leader in communications consulting, focusing on transforming the way that corporations and businesses communicate. She works with C-Suite Executives, Premier Athletes, and individuals, giving them the tools to capture their “Signature Style” and presence. For over a decade Denise has focused on women's leadership trends and ways to help women develop stronger voices in the workplace. She can be heard on her weekly podcast, Women Express.

Michael Ellington

Michael Ellington has worked as an emcee and voice-over professional for over 30 years. Ellington's warm and sincere interactive style makes him a sought-after emcee. Known as "The Voice of the Los Angeles Police Department," he is a retired veteran of the Department. Ellington is currently a guest lecturer at the Los Angles Police Academy. He was taught meditation at the original Transcendental Meditation Center, Inc. in South West Los Angeles.

STANLEY LEWIS

As one of the first three African-American TM® teachers, he is the co-founder and was the leader of TMC, Inc.  The TMC easy teaching style is modeled after this gifted lecturer. His insights into community outreach enhanced the quick spread of TMC throughout the U.S. Today he lives on the Island of Reunion (Indian Ocean) as a writer, 3D animator, film director, visionary humanitarian and practitioner of the Transcendental Meditation® technique.

Rena Boone

Rena Boone is a 40-year educator, Executive Director of The Meditation Center at THEARC, and Regional Director of the David Lynch Foundation. Ms. Boone has taught Transcendental Meditation to many thousands of adults and young people.  She became a TM teacher at the historic TMC Teacher Training Course in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. Ms. Boone will speak on the influence of TMC in her work over the years.

​Dr. Kibre Dawit

Kibre Dawit was instrumental in organizing the historic TMC, Inc. Teachers Training Course held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  Dr. Dawit is the National Leader of the Global Country of World Peace and the Director of Consciousness-Based Education for Ladies in Ethiopia . She founded Kisama Africa University College in Addis Ababa where she teaches Transcendental Meditation to faculty and students.

Sibongile

Bradley West

Sibongile has been a Certified Transcendental Meditation teacher since 1973 and has taught TM in the private sector, university programs and in several research studies. She serves on the Board and is President of the African PTSD Relief. She is vice president of Young Communications Group, Inc., with extensive experience in marketing communications, media relations, political and community outreach.

Bill Duke

He said TM saved his life and led him to Ethiopia to become a TM teacher. As an actor, director, producer, writer and humanitarian, Bill is dedicated to bringing quality "Edutainment" to audiences. He has produced critically acclaimed films and TV content and has been honored by the Directors Guild of America with a Lifetime Achievement Tribute. He has a new book,  Bill Duke: My 40-Year Career on Screen and behind the Camera.

Dr. John Hagelin

The leader of the Transcendental Meditation movement and President of the Maharishi University of Management, John Hagelin, Ph.D., is a renowned quantum physicist, educator, author, and leading proponent of peace. While you may recognize him from recent films such as The Secret and What the Bleep Do We Know?!, Dr. Hagelin has been investigating the foundations of human consciousness for decades.

George Rutherford

George Rutherford II, PhD, has been a public school principl and educator for 53 years. Dr. Rutherford, who recently retired as principal of the Ideal Academy Public Charter School, is also national director of the U.S. Committee for Stress-Free Schools.

Dr. Rutherford has 25 years of personal and professional experience using the TM technique to reduce stress and violence, improve health, and foster harmony in the D. C. community.
